Albania Travel Guides
We stumbled into Albania somewhat by accident--meant to be a quick stopover, turned into one of our favourite discoveries in the Balkans. The kids absolutely loved it, which surprised us given how much they'd moaned about leaving the Greek islands. But Albania won them over with deserted beaches, ridiculously cheap ice cream (€0.50 a scoop!), and the friendliest locals we've encountered anywhere. We've now been back twice, exploring everything from the buzzing Albanian Riviera to remote mountain villages where Leo was convinced we'd travelled back in time. It's refreshingly free of mass tourism, remarkably affordable, and genuinely fascinating. These guides cover everything we learned the hard way--so you can skip the mistakes and get straight to the good bits.
